HSKSAAP (Hunting, Sporting Knives, Swords & Accessories Association of Pakistan) is the official trade association representing Pakistan's blade manufacturing industry — based in Wazirabad, Punjab. Any manufacturer, exporter, or small-scale producer of hunting knives, pocket knives, swords, axes, daggers, and related blade accessories can apply for membership. We have two membership classes: Corporate Class for large-scale registered manufacturers and exporters, and Associate Class for small-scale manufacturers and craftsmen.

Corporate Class is for registered, large-scale manufacturers and exporters of blades and accessories. The registration fee is PKR 3,500 and annual renewal fee is PKR 3,500. Corporate members get a featured listing on the HSKSAAP website.

Associate Class is for small-scale manufacturers, craftsmen, and cottage-industry blade producers. The registration fee is PKR 2,500 and annual renewal fee is PKR 2,500. Both classes have access to all HSKSAAP services including visa recommendation letters, exhibition facilitation, and online verification. The membership card fee of PKR 500 applies to both classes.

To apply for membership:

• Download the membership application form from our Downloads page
• Fill the form completely and print it on your company letterhead
• Gather all required documents: CNIC copy, NTN copy, business registration, company letterhead application, 2 passport photos, and fee payment
• Submit everything to the HSKSAAP office at Basement Akhtar Plaza, G.T Road, Wazirabad
• Your membership certificate will be issued within 8 to 10 working days

Membership applications are processed within 8 to 10 working days from the date of submission of a complete application with all required documents and payment. Incomplete applications will be returned and the processing time will restart upon resubmission with complete documents.

Corporate Class — First Year Total: PKR 7,500
Registration Fee: PKR 3,500 + Annual Fee: PKR 3,500 + Membership Card: PKR 500

Associate Class — First Year Total: PKR 5,500
Registration Fee: PKR 2,500 + Annual Fee: PKR 2,500 + Membership Card: PKR 500

From the second year onwards, only the annual renewal fee applies (PKR 3,500 for Corporate / PKR 2,500 for Associate). The registration fee is a one-time payment.

Membership is renewed annually on the anniversary of your original registration date. HSKSAAP will notify you before your renewal date. To renew, simply pay the annual renewal fee (PKR 3,500 for Corporate / PKR 2,500 for Associate) at the HSKSAAP office. Upon renewal you receive a new annual membership certificate. It is important to renew on time — any gap in renewal resets your consecutive certificate count for voting eligibility.

If your membership lapses (you miss the annual renewal), you will lose access to all HSKSAAP services including visa recommendation letters, verification listing, and exhibition support. To rejoin, you must submit a fresh application and pay the full registration fee again — as if joining for the first time. Your consecutive certificate count will also reset to 1, requiring 3 more consecutive years before regaining voting eligibility.

The following documents are required:

• Copy of CNIC (proprietor / director)
• Copy of NTN (National Tax Number)
• Business Registration Certificate
• Application on company letterhead with stamp and signature
• 2 passport size photographs
• Membership fee payment (cash or bank transfer receipt)

A member becomes eligible to vote in HSKSAAP elections after receiving 3 consecutive annual membership certificates without any gap in renewal. If a member misses even 1 year of renewal, the consecutive count resets to zero and they must complete 3 consecutive years again before regaining voting eligibility. Once eligible, voting rights are retained as long as the member continues renewing annually without any gap.

Yes. Associate members who have expanded their business operations and now qualify as large-scale registered manufacturers or exporters may apply to upgrade to Corporate Class membership. Please contact the HSKSAAP office for the upgrade procedure and applicable fees.

The HSKSAAP online verification system at hsksaap.org/verify-online allows instant verification of three types of documents:

• Membership Verification — confirm if a company is a registered HSKSAAP member
• Certificate Verification — verify any HSKSAAP issued certificate
• Letter Verification — verify any HSKSAAP issued recommendation or official letter

Simply enter the reference number from the document and the system will instantly confirm whether it is genuine.

Every HSKSAAP member is assigned a unique membership number in the format HSKSAAP-YYYY-XXX (e.g., HSKSAAP-2025-001). This number appears on the member's official HSKSAAP membership certificate and card. You can enter this number directly on the Verify Online page to confirm membership status instantly.

Yes. The HSKSAAP online verification system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world. International buyers, embassies, banks, and trade partners can verify HSKSAAP members and documents at any time without needing to contact the HSKSAAP office directly.

If a company claims HSKSAAP membership but does not appear in our online verification system, they are not a registered HSKSAAP member. This could mean they are not registered, their membership has lapsed, or they are misrepresenting themselves. If you are a member but your company does not appear in the members directory, it may be because your member record has not yet been updated in the system, or some required information (such as logo URL or website) has not been entered. Please contact the HSKSAAP office at +92 325 2700099 and we will update your listing immediately.

All active HSKSAAP members — both Corporate Class and Associate Class — with current, up-to-date membership can apply for visa recommendation letters. Lapsed members must first renew their membership before applying.

The fee for an HSKSAAP Visa Recommendation Letter is PKR 5,000 per letter. Other document fees:

All fees are non-refundable once document preparation has commenced.

Visa recommendation letters are processed and issued within 4 to 5 working days from the date of submission of complete documents and payment. HSKSAAP issues visa recommendation letters for all countries worldwide. The most commonly requested destinations include USA, Germany, UK, Italy, France, Netherlands, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other countries where our members travel for exhibitions and business meetings. If your destination is not listed, please contact our office — we issue letters for any country where a valid business purpose exists.

No. An HSKSAAP visa recommendation letter does not guarantee visa approval. It is an official document that supports your visa application by confirming your professional status as a registered blade industry manufacturer in Pakistan. The final visa decision rests entirely with the relevant embassy or consulate. HSKSAAP cannot be held responsible for visa refusals.

Required documents for a visa recommendation letter application:

• Copy of CNIC of the applicant
• Passport copy (first 4 pages) — must have at least 6 months validity
• Request letter on company letterhead stating purpose, destination, and travel dates
• Exhibition invitation or event confirmation letter (if applicable)
• Hotel booking confirmation
• 2 recent passport size photographs
• 6 months bank statement
• Copy of current HSKSAAP membership certificate

In both cases, active HSKSAAP membership is required to receive association support.

For the exhibitions where HSKSAAP participates officially — ADIHEX, Saudi Falcon, S-hail Qatar, and World Deer Expo — HSKSAAP facilitates a Pakistan Pavilion where member companies can exhibit together as a unified national representation. Document Attestation is the process of officially endorsing trade and export documents with the HSKSAAP stamp and signature, confirming their authenticity. HSKSAAP attests documents including Agreements, Translations, Legal Documents, REX Certificates, Certificate of Origin (COO), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Health Certificates, Phytosanitary Certificates, and Fumigation Certificates. The fee is PKR 2,000 per document. Contact the HSKSAAP office to submit documents for attestation.

HSKSAAP provides Trade Dispute Mediation services to help member companies resolve commercial disagreements fairly and efficiently — without the need for lengthy and expensive legal proceedings. If you have a trade dispute with another party, contact the HSKSAAP office and our mediation team will help facilitate a resolution. This service is available exclusively to active HSKSAAP members.

As a registered trade association affiliated with the Ministry of Commerce, FPCCI, TDAP, SMEDA, and TEVTA, HSKSAAP represents the collective interests of Pakistan's blade industry at the highest government levels. Benefits include:

Active HSKSAAP members can apply for a Free Sale Certificate or Sample Carrying Certificate by submitting a request on company letterhead to the HSKSAAP office, along with a copy of the CNIC and current membership certificate. The fee is PKR 4,000 per certificate and processing takes 4 to 5 working days. These certificates are useful for export shipments and when travelling internationally with product samples.
