Distinguished Members, Esteemed Trade Partners & Honoured Guests,

It is with immense pride, deep gratitude, and a profound sense of responsibility that I address you as the founding Chairman of the Hunting & Sporting Knives, Swords & Accessories Association of Pakistan (HSKSAAP). The establishment of this association marks a historic milestone for our industry — one that our craftsmen, manufacturers, and exporters have long deserved.

For over 150 years, the city of Wazirabad has been the beating heart of Pakistan's blade manufacturing industry. Our craftsmen have, with bare hands and unparalleled skill, shaped steel into masterpieces — from hand-forged Damascus steel knives that grace the collections of enthusiasts across the United States and Europe, to precision hunting knives trusted by sportsmen in the deserts of the UAE and the forests of Germany. Yet despite this extraordinary legacy, our industry has long lacked the unified institutional voice it deserves.

HSKSAAP was founded to change that. We are not merely an association — we are a movement. A movement to professionalise, to unite, and to amplify the voice of every manufacturer, exporter, craftsman, and trade partner who has dedicated their life to this noble industry. Registered with the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, and affiliated with FPCCI, TDAP, SMEDA, and TEVTA, HSKSAAP stands as the authoritative representative body of Pakistan's blade sector on both national and international platforms.

From the very first day of our operations, HSKSAAP has been committed to delivering tangible, meaningful services to every registered member. We understand that our members face real challenges — from navigating complex export documentation to securing visas for international trade exhibitions, and from resolving trade disputes to accessing government financing schemes. Our role is to stand with you at every step.

• Issuing official Visa Recommendation Letters for member representatives travelling to international exhibitions and buyer meetings
• Facilitating Pakistan Pavilion participation at ADIHEX Abu Dhabi, SHOT Show USA, IWA Nuremberg, S-hail Qatar, and other leading global exhibitions
• Providing Document Attestation services for commercial and trade documents required for international business
• Operating Pakistan's first blade industry online verification system — allowing international buyers, embassies, and trade partners to instantly verify HSKSAAP members and certificates at hksaap.org
• Representing member interests before the Ministry of Commerce, TDAP, FPCCI, and SBP to secure export incentives and trade policy improvements
• Providing Trade Dispute Mediation services to resolve commercial disagreements fairly and efficiently
• Collaborating with SMEDA and TEVTA to deliver skills training and capacity building programs for our workforce

Pakistan's blade industry today exports to over 30 countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. But this is only the beginning. Our vision is to position Wazirabad and Pakistan as the undisputed global leader in handcrafted blade manufacturing — a destination of choice for international buyers, distributors, and collectors who seek quality, craftsmanship, and value.

To achieve this vision, HSKSAAP is actively working on establishing formal trade relationships with knife associations and buyer communities in the USA, Canada, Germany, France, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. We are building the infrastructure — the certifications, the verification systems, the exhibition presence, and the government liaison — that will give our members a competitive edge in every market they serve.

I firmly believe that unity is our greatest strength. No single manufacturer, however talented, can achieve alone what we can accomplish together as a unified association. Every company that joins HSKSAAP adds to our collective strength, our credibility, and our ability to advocate for the entire industry. I therefore extend a heartfelt invitation to every manufacturer, exporter, trader, and craftsman in Wazirabad and beyond to join HSKSAAP and be part of this historic journey.

I am deeply grateful to the founding members of HSKSAAP for their trust, their support, and their commitment to this vision. I am equally grateful to the Government of Pakistan, the Ministry of Commerce, TDAP, FPCCI, SMEDA, and TEVTA for their guidance and support in establishing this association. And I extend my sincere appreciation to every member company that has placed their confidence in HSKSAAP.
